Focus and Scope
The collection of scientific and technical papers "Mechanics of Gyroscopic Systems" publishes in-depth articles devoted to the latest results of theoretical research in the fields of navigation and orientation, rigid-body control, analysis of gyroscope errors under vibration and overload conditions, as well as the evaluation of methods for improving instrument accuracy. The journal features works by both leading Ukrainian experts and early-career researchers.
The purpose of this publication is to disseminate the latest findings from scientific and applied research, as well as to encourage young scientists to engage in scientific activities.

The journal "Mechanics of Gyroscopic Systems" is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific publication founded by the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.” The journal is an authoritative source of scientific information for specialists in the fields of instrument engineering and aviation technology. The publication is included in the list of scientific professional journals of Ukraine, which guarantees the high quality and scientific value of the published materials.
The editorial board adheres to strict standards of academic ethics and ensures a transparent process of independent peer review (double-blind peer review). This approach allows us to select only relevant and methodologically sound studies that meet international standards. Thanks to the Open Access policy, research findings become available to the international community immediately upon the issue’s publication, which helps increase authors’ citation indices.
In collaboration with Sikorsky Academic Press, the journal implements modern digital standards, including mandatory DOI identification for articles. The electronic platform provides a convenient workflow for manuscript submission and preparation for publication, reinforcing the journal’s status as a modern platform for scientific communication. We strive to create conditions for constructive dialogue between the academic community and developers of high-tech products.
