Focus and Scope

The international scientific and technical journal "Mechanics and Advanced Technologies" covers the following subject areas:

  • Mechanics. This section is devoted to scientific and practical problems in the mechanics of deformable solids, the dynamics and strength of machines, biomechanics, pressure processing, applied hydro- and aeromechanics, and industrial hydraulics.
  • Advanced Engineering Techniques and Technologies. This section is devoted to scientific and practical issues related to improving methods for calculating and designing mechanical engineering components, automation and robotization in mechanical engineering, and the development and implementation of advanced technologies and machines for mechanical and physical-technical processing of materials, as well as welding.
  • Aerospace Systems and Technologies. This section is devoted to scientific and practical issues related to the development and implementation of technologies and processes in project management, quality management systems, certification, standardization, recycling technologies in knowledge-intensive mechanical engineering, advanced materials, as well as issues in the development, design, and production of aerospace systems and the advancement of educational technologies.

About the journal:

The journal "Mechanics and Advanced Technologies" is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific publication founded by the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.” The journal carries on the traditions of the KPI School of Mechanics and offers authors the opportunity to publish their research in both Ukrainian and English. The journal adheres to international standards of transparency and academic integrity.

The editorial policy is based on the principles of open science, allowing readers to read, download, and cite materials free of charge immediately upon publication. The article selection process includes a thorough peer review, ensuring the objectivity and high scientific value of the content.
